Let's talk about

The Revenue Generation Roadmap is my five-step framework that shows coaches, consultants, and service-based business owners exactly how to start attracting clients consistently and generate sustainable revenue. The five steps – Know, Offer, Convert, Build, and M.E.M.O – work together as a system so you're never guessing where your next client is coming from.

And the thing is – I created this because I kept hearing the same question from every business owner I worked with: “How do I get more clients?” The answer isn't one thing. It's five things that work together. And if you're missing even one, the whole system has a leak.

Key Takeaways

  • The Revenue Generation Roadmap has 5 stages: Know, Offer, Convert, Build, and M.E.M.O
  • Most business owners jump straight to marketing without nailing the first three stages
  • The BUILD and M.E.M.O stages create an ongoing cycle that drives consistent revenue
  • Every stage builds on the one before it – skip one and the system breaks
  • The framework is underpinned by mindset work: Thought Management, Breakthrough Cycles, and Belief Ladders

What Is the Revenue Generation Roadmap?

The Revenue Generation Roadmap is a step-by-step framework I developed that maps out every element your business needs to consistently attract, convert, and retain paying clients. I built it through years of coaching hundreds of service-based business owners.

And here's the truth – most business owners are missing at least one of these stages. They've got great skills. They're good at what they do. But they can't figure out why clients aren't coming consistently. Sound familiar?

Stage 1: KNOW – Get Clear on Who You Are and Who You Serve

The first stage is all about foundations. Before you market anything, before you build a website, before you post on social media – you need absolute clarity.

And I know, I know. You're thinking “Suz, I already know who I am.” But let me push back on that. Because I've had clients who've been in business for years and when I ask them “what problem do you solve?” they give me a two-minute rambling answer. That's not clarity. That's confusion dressed up as experience.

Know Yourself

What are you actually here to do? What's your zone of genius? This isn't fluffy self-discovery – it's strategic clarity. Because if you're building a business around something that doesn't align with who you are, you'll burn out before you ever get momentum.

Know Your Client

Who specifically do you help? And I don't mean “women aged 25-45.” I mean: what is the exact problem they're lying awake at night worrying about? The more specific you get, the easier everything else becomes. 100%.

Know the Problem You Solve

You don't sell coaching sessions. You sell the solution to a specific problem. Getting crystal clear on that problem – and articulating it in your client's own language – is what makes people say “she's talking directly to me.”

Know Your Brand

Your vision, values, mission, message. This is how you articulate what you stand for and why you're different. And if your brand is boring and beige? They're scrolling right past.

Stage 2: OFFER – Create Something People Actually Want to Buy

The second stage is about packaging your expertise into offers that are clear, desirable, and profitable. And this is where I see so many people get it wrong. They create an offer based on what THEY want to sell, not what their client actually wants to buy.

Relevant and Desirable Offers

Your offers need to solve a problem your ideal client actually has – not the problem you think they should have. I say that with love.

Clear and Simple Packaging

If someone can't understand what they're buying within 30 seconds, you've lost them. Simple sells.

Profitable Pricing

It's about building a business that actually pays you well for your expertise. Because working 60-hour weeks isn't freedom – that's a job you gave yourself.

Stage 3: CONVERT – Build a Home That Actually Converts

If people can't find where to buy from you – or when they do find you, the experience is confusing – you're leaving money on the table.

Your Website

Your website is your digital home. Let's say somebody recommends me and I go look at their website. I'm not gonna contact them first. I'm gonna check out their site, their socials, see if their brand resonates. If it doesn't? I'm gone.

Your Social Presence

Your Instagram bio, your LinkedIn profile, your link in bio – if your link in bio is broken or taking people somewhere irrelevant, that's a conversion killer.

Sales Pages That Sell

Your sales pages need to clearly communicate the transformation you deliver, who it's for, what's included, and how to buy.

A Simple Buying Process

Every point of friction between “I want this” and paying you is where you lose clients. Make it easy for people to give you money.

Stage 4: BUILD – Create Content People Can Actually Find

If you're spending all your time on social media – which is not searchable – then what are you building on your home base?

I landed a $10K client through a single blog post. That's the power of searchable, evergreen content.

Master Content

Your podcast, blog, or YouTube channel. Long-form content where you go deep on your expertise.

Evergreen Searchable Content

A social post disappears in hours. A blog post can bring you clients for years. This is where people who don't follow you on social can discover you. According to HubSpot's research

Consistent Value Creation

The businesses that thrive long-term give generously and build trust before they ask for the sale.

Stage 5: M.E.M.O – Monthly Energetic Marketing Offers

If you're asking “Suz, how do I get more clients?”  this is the answer. M.E.M.O stands for Monthly Energetic Marketing Offers.

Monthly Offers

Every month, answer: What offer am I making? Where? What value am I creating? How am I selling? If you can't answer that, you're missing a major element. And I say that with love.

Energetic Marketing

When you genuinely believe in what you're selling, that energy comes through. Your audience feels it.

Consistent Calls to Action

Let's be honest – if you're not making offers, you're just relying on people passively finding you. Every post should have a job to do.

The PS Strategy

Every email newsletter: provide value first, then PS with a clear call to action for your current offer. Simple. Not pushy. And it works.

The Ongoing Cycle: BUILD + M.E.M.O

Stages 4 and 5 create an ongoing cycle. You're always building your brand through content and always making monthly offers. These feed each other. Stages 1-3 get reviewed annually.

The Mindset Foundation

Underneath all five stages sits mindset work – because your thoughts drive your actions, and your actions drive your results.

Thought Management

Managing self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and fear of visibility is as important as any marketing strategy.

Breakthrough Cycles

Growth isn't linear. The breakthroughs are on the other side of the discomfort.

Belief Ladders

You don't go from “I can't do this” to “six-figure business” overnight. Small steps that gradually build confidence until what felt impossible feels inevitable.

How to Know Which Stage Has the Gap

  1. KNOW: Can you articulate who you help and why you're different in one sentence?
  2. OFFER: Do you have clear, simple, profitable offers?
  3. CONVERT: Would someone Googling you find a professional website with a way to buy?
  4. BUILD: Are you creating searchable content or only posting on social?
  5. M.E.M.O: Are you making a clear offer every single month?
