Today on the poddy, I'm sharing a Lattes & Live all about three ways you can review your business.
We're going through REFLECTION of what's working well, PROJECTION of what you want in the future and then the INTERSECTION of what you need to do and how you need to be to achieve that.
It's so important to lean into your energy when it comes to working through this. So often we feel like we don't know the answer, but I think that we just need to give ourselves the space and time to feel into what we want.
All the questions that I talked through in this episode are below so work through them yourself and DM me to share what you discovered!
A reminder to grab your ticket to Magnetic Mastery this November.

Hey, friend, hey, hope you are doing well. But back to the podcast, doing a little dance standing at my desk while I record this, can you feel the energy? Can you feel it? Can you feel it? in a good mood, I'm in a good mood. And it's interesting because some rubbish things have happened today, but I'm choosing to not let them affect me. And I'm going to be in a great mood. Yeah, I think that's important for us to choose that as well. Why? Because we don't have to take on other people's thoughts, and then need to tell us things that we don't need to know as well. So that's just a little tip, little tip for this lesson today I am sharing it was a live that I did a while ago. So it's kind of a mini episode. You know, my mini episodes are never really mini episodes. But in this episode, I am taking you through questions that you can ask to discover what you really want in business. So we went through this exercise, but on a bigger scale at the rise retreat recently. And so I wanted to take you through it, I did a post on Instagram. So when you go to the show notes, you'll be able to see the images with the questions in them and go to that post as well. But basically, it's really looking at three things, reflection of where you are what you want, what's happening right now in your business, the projection of where you want to look in 12 months, two years, three years. And then the intersection between the reflection of where you are now the projection of where you want to be, and what needs to happen in between. So I'm going to talk through that as well. But I just think that it's really important to take the time to do this. Because so often we go go go and we don't stop to say is what I'm doing. Actually what I want to be doing. Is this working for me, is this happening in the right way for me. And so I'm a big one for this, I love this, I have made this a big part of my business, thinking time, reflection time, coming up with new ideas time. And so that's what I want to encourage you to do as well. Now before we dive into this episode, I want to remind you, that magnetic mastery is coming on the 23rd of November, you want to be there, you will not want to miss this, it's going to be different to any other event that you've been to. It's all about you, you're gonna walk away with new ways of thinking about your business, how you lean into listening to yourself, aligning with yourself, and how you bring a fiercely bold message to the world. That's not what everybody else expects from you, not what you think that you should do. But what you are desperate to live into, and bring to life. How amazing does that sound. So make sure you go to Suzanne chadwick.com forward slash m m for magnetic mastery or you can go to my website and go to events. And you'll see all the events there as well. And then after magnetic mastery is like the Christmas party because it's the end of November. It's gonna be huge. It's like a three course meal. Welcome drink DJ decorations party all night long. Yeah, fret, because I can tell you what, it's been a while since I've, since I've partied all night long. And I kind of feel like when you're in your own business, like I don't know about you, but there's never really great fun Christmas parties. It's like when I was in corporate, they would throw these big Xing dings. And it would be awesome. But when you go into your own business, I don't know there's just not the level of party that I would love to have. So as with everything when I can't find it, I create it. So come and spend the day fly in if you're not in Melbourne, fly into mmm magnetic mastery. come and spend the day together. Have a break, stay at the hotel, the print is incredible. All the details are on the sales page, and then come and party with me in the evening. Does that not sound like such an amazing day and night? I'm excited. So you're invited. You will want to be there. Get your ticket now and come and join me. It will be an amazing day. But listen, let's dive into this week's episode. So today we're going to be diving into three ways that you can review your business. This is something that we did at the retreat. And there were a whole lot of questions that I'm going to take you through today that I really loved. We went into a lot more questions, a lot more detail. But I wanted to share a couple of the questions that we talked about, that I think are really worth you having a think about to within your business. So one of the things that I do on a pretty regular basis is a reflection. Yeah, so it could be every six months or so, you know, what's working really well for me right now. So, recently, I've just taken on a marketing team, which I mentioned a little while ago. And it's because I did a reflection, because time can just go like a year can go two years can go. And things may not be working the way that you want, but you don't fix them. And so when you do regular reflections in your business, or assessments, audits, whatever you want to call it, then it helps you to make decisions about what's working and what's not working right now. So what's working really well for you right now, in your business? What are you really good at? So for me, I love talking, it's been great, I've booked a whole lot of new speaking gigs, which has been fantastic. And so how can I do more of that? What am I not great at that I could let go of and so the marketing element, whilst I enjoy the marketing, there was some strategic things that I really needed more help with. And so instead of leaving that for another six months are another 12 months or waiting till the beginning of next year or whenever is the time that you decide to review things. I reviewed it now. And I made a decision now to make the change so that the last quarter of this year, I can impact my marketing and my sales in a bigger way before I go into next year. So my question is, if things if there are certain things in your business that are not working well, how long are you going to leave them for? I think that's a really important question to ask, How long are you going to leave things that aren't working in your business? How long are you going to sit and wish that they were working, but you're not actually taking any action to make them happen? Or make them work? So sit down and do a reflection? You don't have to answer all of these questions. But I think just answering a couple of them can really help you to take a look at what's working and what's not as well. This was a question that I really loved that a lot of my clients will kind of like, oh, like, that's a hard question. What is amazing about you at this moment in time, obviously, we live in a tall poppy syndrome, where it's like, you can't say what's amazing about you. But the thing is, is that you can so I really want you to think about what's working well, what am I great out what's amazing about me right now in my business? Yeah. And how can I lean more into that as well? When am I in flow? I think that when you if you can find when you're in flow, a lot of things that you might find difficult will come easier. What do I mean by that? So when I'm recording my podcast, I find that my brain works better when I'm talking. I'm an extrovert. It's how I work. So if I can get on the podcast, record more episodes, I find that I come up with new messages. And I come up with new ways of talking about things. And I find things that really land for my audience as well. And so really understanding like, When am I in flow? When am I at my best? What am I really great at what's amazing about me in this moment in time, if you can lean more into that, when it comes to your business, than what you'll find is that the things that you do, you'll have a bigger impact in because you're like, This is amazing. And I love it. And this is where I shine. And this is where I find my energy. And this is where I'm in flow. So if you can find those sweet spots for yourself, where you are in flow, and when you are creating things that you really love and where you are in your zone of genius, whatever that is, then that's what's going to really land with your audience even more. So really think about, what do I want to do more of? And then how can I align what I want to do more of with where I show up best with where I create from a place of flow, where I create from a place of not being stuck in my head. But actually just like it's free flowing, it's happening. I'm doing what is your place of flow? When are you at your best? When are you at a point where you're just like, oh my gosh, like this is all coming so much easier than it normally does. So think about when that is for you. For me. It's on a live, it's recording the podcast, it's speaking at events, that's when I'm in flow. That's when I connect at a higher level with my clients and with my audience and with my followers. So that's a really great question to ask as well. What am I doing? When I am connecting at a higher level with my audience, so even as I'm on this live talking about this, I don't think I've ever said that before. I don't think I've ever brought that question to life before. And so that's exactly I feel like I've just demonstrated exactly what I'm talking about, when are you most in flow, when your creativity is connecting at its highest level, I want to know, like, DM me or drop it in the chat. But I want you to really think about that reflection, too, and how you can do more of that. And I think it's also about, like creating the space, one of the conversations that we had a retreat is that sometimes people feel like thinking time is not productive time. Like it's not productive. If I'm just thinking, again, I tell you, I think your best ideas in business will come when you allow yourself space to think and create and be, because we're so often just in the doing, we're like on that hamster wheel where like, and I need to do this and do that. And my to do list and this and this and this Yeah. When we allow our space or time to kind of go, what's working? Well, when am I in flow? What else do I want to do? Like, if I was to take that big leap and create something, what would it be, and then allow yourself to be in that creation, that's when your best things will come. Because a lot of times, we might create something, and it works for now. And then we continue to do it. But if we're not continuing to, we're not continuing to improve it. If we're not continuing to lean into it, and be in our flow with it, then sometimes it can lose its impact as well, it can lose its ability to do what you want it to do, it can lose its ability to connect with the clients that you want to connect with. Because at the end of the day, hopefully, your brand is always being elevated, you are always evolving and elevating your brand, and what it is that you want to create and do with your client. And I think that you can only continue to evolve and elevate that if you are in reflection, not every day, but like every six months about what's working and what's not for you. So I just really want you to start to think about am I reflecting to help me operate and connect at the highest level with my client? Like, am I being really honest with myself about what I can bring to the table, and how I'm evolving and elevating that as well. So I'm going to link up in the show notes, the posts that I'm talking about where I asked all of these questions. So you can go and check them out and work through them yourself. That is one of the things that I think are really this really worth looking at is what am I what am I reflections on where I'm at where my business is at. And then we did the projection. So this was an exercise that we did at the recent rise retreat, which was amazing. You can go get on the waitlist for the retreat as well, which is just as chadwick.com forward slash rise, waitlist, I think it is that you can go check that out. And so we did a projection. So where am I now but where do I want to be in? I did three years. But you could do one, two or three years. And then really asking yourself at that point in time what will be working really well. And I think asking yourself those questions to around, you know, in three years, in two years in a year, what are we working really well is that I'll have like my marketing agency working incredibly well all my evergreen will be running really smoothly, my funnels will be working, I'll be speaking most of the time. The other question is, Where am I focusing my energy and time. So that's where I'll be focusing my energy and time, what do I not love or what might feel hard at that point, I might have some growing pains, you know, because I know that I'll be hitting like my big goals and my big strides. And so these are just such great questions to be asking yourself as well. And who will be supporting me and my business too. And so you've got your reflection questions, you've got your projection questions, which are your future focus, and then you've got your intersection questions, which is the gap. So if I'm here now, and this is what's great and working, and that's where I want to be in two or three years, then what's the intersection and the gap for me? And what needs to change for things to start working like that? What decisions do I need to make? How do I want to start showing up in a different way as well, so that I can, you know, be doing more of what I love. So even yesterday, I was in a conference, a conversation with Amy Belle, who is going to be one of the speakers at magnetic mastery, which is the event that I am running on the 23rd of November here in Melbourne. And we were just talking about the fact that I would love to have somebody who takes all of my lives and who cuts them up into various 62nd reels and tiktoks Captions them and then also writes emails someone else might do that writes the aim I have from this content that I create. So for me, that's like, that's a projection of what I want. So if I am looking at where I am now and the intersection, yeah, the intersection of where I want to be, then what can I start doing now? That could help me to get to that place? So maybe I need to start talking to some, like video editors. And maybe I need to speak to my VA about going and watching some of these and writing some emails for me, like, what are the action steps I'm going to take to for me to get there as well. So okay, so econ profit coach says, Can these questions be used if I'm contemplating closing my business? Yeah, absolutely. I think that the reflection of what's working and what's not is and where you are in flow. Because sometimes I do think that when things are not working, now the thing we talked about our retreat, the retreat, so got so good, you should definitely come. What one of the things we talked about retreat was being in a box. So we start our business in a box. As in this is what I do. So for example, whatever it is that you do, which I can say from your handle, that's what I do. And so is that working for you? Yes or no? Yeah, it might be it might not be and if it's not, but you still want to stay in business? And what are you going to evolve? And what are you going to shift and change. So one of my clients is currently in the digital space, but she wants to be in the life coaching space. And so we're now on a journey from how she goes from the box that she's in, which is, you know, where she's always into money and what she's always done and what she's known for, and that's what I am, that's what I am, that's what I do to actually what sets my soul on fire. What I really want to create is this thing here, which is totally different. Yeah. And so just asking yourself the question, do I want to shift the business that I'm in is okay, as well. It's okay for us to evolve and elevate, it's okay for us to want something different. And I think sometimes we make ourselves wrong for wanting something different. When I just want to say to you, so let's just map a path for what this new opportunity and focuses for you. Yeah, that's why that's what we want to be doing, always and these questions that I did in the post that I put in my feed this morning, so you can go and you don't you can go and look at them. These questions should be helping you to take your business to like another level as well. And so what I mean by that is, I'm a business coach, I started in the brand strategy area, I used to run a brand agency. And then I have now been doing business coaching for a long time, which I will continue to do because I love it. But I've now getting certified in like life coaching and NLP and mindset and manifestation, which is so exciting. And that's the evolution Yeah. Because I will end up being like a life and transformation coach for business owners, where we talk business, and we talk mindset, and moving them through that transformation that they want. And I'm okay in that evolution. So the question is, what's your evolution? What is it that you want to be doing? Sometimes, like I said, we're so in the doing that we feel stuck in the box, we don't reflect what's working. So we don't project what we want. I just want you I just want you to have the opportunity to be in a place where thinking time is productive time thinking time is really important for your business. And asking yourself these questions are just as important as everything else that you do, if not more so. Because if you don't ask your quick ask these questions, you could be leading your business and yourself down a path that you may not want to continue to either be on, or you might have an opportunity to evolve, and you're not recognizing that opportunity as well. So I hope that these questions have resonated for you, you know something at the end of the day, you can just create your own questions like What? What questions do you want to ask yourself, when you reflect on your business? What do you want to ask yourself when you project like, you might have different questions and the questions that I've asked, and that's even better, because then you're really thinking about what you want, what you want to ask yourself, What's going to fit for you. And so the main thing is really just to encourage you to take the time out, and know that this is like really great time to take out of your business. And do this work as well so that when you make decisions, you're making them in an intentional and conscious way, which is aligned with what you really want and how you want to be and what you want to create. Well, that's it for another week. It has been amazing to have you here as always, and remember to follow me on all socials at Sue's Chadwick, but Thanks so much for listening.
