Recently, I really wanted to work with somebody and I couldn't find a way to grab them for, like, an hour and so this episode comes off the back of, why is it hard for me to give people money?

I was in the middle of something, and I really wanted to work with somebody and I couldn't find a way to grab them for, like, an hour. And so this episode comes off the back of, why is it hard for me to give people money? Are you making it hard for your clients to give you money. Are you leaving money on the table when you could create something that's so super quick and easy that it brings in 1000 of extra dollars in your business. Yeah? That's what we're talking about today, so let's just go for it. Let's talk about why you're making it hard for people to give you money. This is this is something that I really wanted to do a episode on it because I see it all the time. And for one of my beautiful clients who I just sent this message to today, I said, Why are you making it hard for me to give you money? I thought this is the perfect time for me to do this episode because I feel like I'm having this conversation with a few different clients, we're we're making it hard for people to find how they can work with us in quick ways. Now you may have your products and services sorted.

And if you're fully booked, amazing. But if you are wanting to think about fast money, opportunities for people to get to know you, opportunities for people to have a taste of working with you, then I wanna give you a couple of suggestions about how you can create fast cash in your business, but also make it really easy for people to work with you. So there are a couple of ways you can do this. The first way is something like an audit. So if you do social media, you do LinkedIn, you do web sites, anything like that, where somebody might just want to get your eyes on something really quickly and then get you to give them suggestions or things that they could potentially be doing. So an audit is a great thing to add to your business. It could be something like a hundred bucks, 500 bucks, whatever it is that you do, think about the value, but also think about it as part of your sales funnel. If somebody isn't gonna pay $5000 or $3000 to work with you straight off.

What could be the first stepping stone for them to be able to get a bit of a taster for what you could potentially do for them. So the first thing could be an audit. where it may not be where you get on a Zoom with them, but they go and take a look at your account. They go take a look at whatever it is that you want them to review, and then they come back to you with some of their suggestions. They might do, like, a Loom screen recording. You could do a Loom screen recording and give them a critique with feedback on that. And that means that you can do it in your own time. Like, obviously, you'll say this will be delivered within the next 7 days or in the next 24 hours, whatever.

it is that works for you. But it just allows you to start to get people paying you to get your eyes on what it is that they do and how you can help them. The second thing that I am a big believer in is to pick my brain, why hour session. You can call it whatever you want. I call mine a strategy session. Now I've actually got a 1 hour 90 minute and a 2 hour. there is only a 90 minute that's available online, but for certain clients where they're like, Susan, I just wanna spend some time with you. I'm here's the link.

So one of the ways that you can set this up so that it's super easy for your clients and you are making it easy for them to give you money is something like Calendly. I love Calendly. I'm a big big vote for Calendly. Because, basically, you can send somebody a link. They can check your calendar, and you can set up times that you want that particular service to be available for. So you could be like, I that service is only bookable in my diary on a Friday morning or whatever time works for you. But Calendly allows you to give them access to the your diary in a way that works for you. And then you can ask them a whole lot of questions so that you can be prepared for the session.

You could also do this for your audit as well, and then they pay So before you're delivering the service, they're paying to book into your diary and get you to do whatever it is that they're wanting you to do. So then it's seamless. It's systemized. It doesn't require you manually going backwards and forwards. and they pay before it happens. And then it's booked into your diary and you're sorted. You can also limit the amount of people that can book in so you can be, there's only 5 spots available. So I know that I've worked with a copywriter before, damn right.
Suz Chadwick [00:05:30]:
She's amazing. And I've just booked a VIP day where I go in. I pick the day. She's got, like, 1 or 2 days a month that are available. I've booked into that before. I've paid. I've gotten the contract, all the rest of it, and then I give her the information that she needs to do that particular sales page on that day that we've booked, and then she delivers it to me. So there are really easy ways.
Suz Chadwick [00:05:55]:
But having the tech that's gonna help you to allow people to give your money easily to book into your diary easily, I think it's just a really really smart way of doing business. So we've got the audit We've got the pick your brain or strategy session, which could be an hour. It could be 2 hours. The other thing that I do is that when I have a strategy session with somebody, then they get the Zoom recording. They get the notes that I've created with any of the suggestions and then any other resources that I may have given them as well. So once we have that session, I send that to them, and we're done. Yeah? So it doesn't have to be something that is long and over complicated. It can be something that is quick and easy for you to do.
Suz Chadwick [00:06:38]:
Another thing is obviously VIP days, like I mentioned, like, if you're wanting to do something bigger, that could be anything from, like, a 1000 to $5000. It's totally up to you what you do in that day. I used to do VIP days. They don't work for my energy. So I just do 2 hour 2 hour intensives where I will work with a client in that those 2 hours to work through whatever it is that they need. And that is just a really great introduction to me. So if somebody and I get this a bit is that if somebody can't afford to work with me for 3 or 6 months as a one on one coach, then they will book intensive, like a 2 hour intensive where they book when they need it, they pay and then we do it on the day that they've booked as well. And so I've had clients that are like, I know I definitely wanna coach with you.
Suz Chadwick [00:07:27]:
I'm just not there yet. So can we do a strategy session? And then from there, maybe a couple months later, they then book in for the 3 or 6 month coaching. So it's just a really great opportunity for you to give them the taster to get some money into your business quickly and easily. And for you to also kind of vet whether they're the right client for you or not, because you might do an intensive with them and deliver what you wanna deliver to them, But then you know whether you wanna work with them longer term or, you know, whether they're the right client for you or not. Because the great thing is from a sales perspective, from a sales strategy perspective, is that you can always go back to clients that you've done either audits for or you've done intensives or VIP days. And if you loved them and you're like, yes. You're my person, I definitely wanna work with you. then you can always go and offer them something else.
Suz Chadwick [00:08:21]:
So even when I have things coming up like either mini retreats or new offers, I will go back to clients who I have loved working with and be like, hey. I just wanted to let you know about this. Like, I love working with you. If it's of interest, then check it out. We'd love to work with you again. And so really coming at it from a place of if they're an ideal client, how can I continue to share with them other ways that we could potentially work together too? So I just wanted to create this many episode for you to get you thinking about, are you making it hard for people to give you money? Are you creating mini services and mini could be not something that's 3 or $5000, something that's like, $300 or a $100 or $500 where you could get lots of people booking in and getting cash into your business. Like, I just want you to really think about that. Like, if you could do something that's $500 or 997 or something like that, I was saying this to a client the other day, where she's actually working in a job at the moment, but she's got her lunch times and maybe, you know, some time in the afternoon or something free.
Suz Chadwick [00:09:35]:
And I'm like, if you got 3 clients, 4 clients in a month where they did a 9:9:7 1 hour strategy session with you or 90 minute session with you, that's, like, $4000. So you can really start to build up this revenue where it's not taking you loads of time to deliver but it's something that somebody wants. So for me, I was wanting to do I've actually done a couple of 1 hour sessions. I recently booked a 1 hour Instagram session with an Instagram coach in the UK who I really like. And it was just for me to get new ideas for her to kinda get her eyes on my Instagram to give me some new inspiration because I've been on ID for ages, and I'm a bit over it, but I know that I get clients there. So I wanted to have a conversation with her, and there was lots of things that I had made assumptions about on Instagram that she corrected me on, which was great. And then we looked at some of the content that I was sharing. We talked about DAM strategy.
Suz Chadwick [00:10:39]:
So I know a lot about Instagram, but to actually spend an hour with somebody where that is what they do day in and day out. I know I'm gonna learn stuff. So I did in a 1 hour with her, and it was great. Booked into her diary. at a time that worked for me, paid her, had the session, got all of the recordings and resources, etcetera. Another one is that one of my clients, Anie from Sugarpop Social. She does Facebook and Instagram ads. And so I've got, like, the BBA launch coming up in October.
Suz Chadwick [00:11:14]:
So I wanted just an hour with her to talk about what my strategy is gonna be around ads because I'm running my own ads now. which are working really well, but I'm like, okay. What's the run up that I want with the ads? What's my engagement ad strategy? What's my opt in ad strategy? so that I'm giving myself that 30, 60, 90 day runway before we get to the actual launch and then what's my retargeting strategy, etcetera. So whilst I can access her in her membership, which I'm also a part of, I actually want an hour just for us to focus on my business and for me to ask all the questions without worrying about other people needing to ask their questions in like a group coaching call. And so that's the reason why I think it's really worthwhile having these types of services in your business so that people can really quickly and easily get what they need at the time that they need it, at a time that works for them, at a time that works for you, and for them to just pay for it. So if you haven't done that, I would really encourage you to do that. And just have it on your website somewhere really obvious so that when I go to work with you, I can see your courses, your consulting, your services, but also, like, pick my brain or 1 hour intensive or whatever it is. Yeah? you know, fast results.
Suz Chadwick [00:12:40]:
Whatever you wanna call it, just think about, can somebody access me ASAP if they need me for an hour? to borrow my brain, to pay for my brain. If you want fast money in your business, then I want you to think about adding that service and then I want you to be talking about it on the regular. It needs to be part of your marketing strategy. It is a great leading. It is a great taster. It is a great fast money option. If you've got any questions, let me know. Show me that you did it. Yeah? Because if you want accountability, do it. It should be something that takes you, like, an hour or 2 to set up if that. if you've already got Calendly, it should take you 20 minutes to set it up. Yeah. And then make sure that you've got it in your link in bio, in Instagram, or you've shared it on your LinkedIn or wherever it is so that people can book. Because there's no point creating something and then for it to be your best kept secret, which I've had as well. where I message somebody, and I'm like, do you have a 1 hour pick my brain type offering? And they're like, yes.
Suz Chadwick [00:13:51]:
And I'm like, well, is there a link? They're like, no. There's no link. So you're making it hard for people to give you money. Go forth. Get fast cash. create services, people can access quickly and easily so that you can be making money in your business.
