      • Lack of planning
      • People thinking their product will sell itself – it won’t, even if it’s awesome

Creating launch goals & measuring launch success

  • Goals aren’t just financial
  • What does a successful launch look like to you?
  • What is the benchmark from previous launches?
  • What type of experience do you want to give your audience through the launch process?
  • Measures: Dollars, places sold, effort & time invested into launch, your enjoyment factor, how did your audience feel?
  • Don’t forget to go back and review!

How to give your audience the best experience

  • Tell your audience what to expect
  • Be clear on your sales page in terms of your offer
  • Tell them how they can ask questions – chat box? email?
  • Make sure your audience feels supported, you are there with them every step of the way
  • Tell them what they will walk away with, if they work with you, what will this really give them?
  • Have an FAQs section on your sales page
  • Arrange to have a support person with you during launch day – even if it’s your bestie

Mastering the pre-launch

  • It’s all about the plan – content, timing, who you’ll target, ad campaigns, affiliates & alliances, technology
  • Schedule everything; campaigns, wait list series, automations
  • Create targeted & carefully thought out content
  • Give yourself enough time, no last minute planning
  • Make yourself approachable and available to your audience to help them feel secure
  • Through your marketing, make sure you answer the top objections your audience usually has
  • Share your launch purpose & your launch goals
  • Start early, there’s no reason you can’t talk about all the good things early

Why knowing your launch purpose will bring in more sales

  • It brings clarity and focus, you know what you’re aiming for and will find more opportunities to achieve your goal because you’re looking for them
  • It’s bigger than you, create a mini movement around this, if you’re audience knows your purpose, they’ll join you. They’ll look for opportunities for you, they’ll be on the journey with you
  • Sharing the reason you do what you do, why you’re launching this product, will build honest connection and people will want to be a part of your mission
  • If you’re confident in why you’re doing what you’re doing and what you want to achieve, you’ll be able to communicate this better
