Brand Builders Lab podcast eps 67

This week on the podcast we're talking about why your thought leadership matter and how you can build your thought leadership using the 7 Pillars of Thought Leadership.

When I work with any brand – big or small, when I used to work with corporate leaders, thought leadership is one of the foundations to stand out.

Thought leadership is all about putting your unique perspectives and conclusions out into the world. Based on your own experiences and expertise, I'm sure you have viewpoints that could help others if you shared them.

It's not just about thinking something, but having the courage of your convictions to articulate those beliefs on a bigger platform. Ultimately, thought leadership serves as a positioning tool to help you stand out from the crowd.

In this episode, we dive into practical tips on developing your thought leadership to build your brand and business.

We're talking about how you:

  1. Decide what you want to be known for and put a stake in the ground. What's your unique angle? Remember it may take time to hone your message.
  2. Develop your thought leadership by using it everywhere – in speaking, content, bios. Share what you think boldly.
  3. Grow your influence by getting your thoughts and messages out there. Make them repeatable so others can quote you. Consider writing a book.
  4. Use your thought leadership to attract potential clients and grow your business. Listen to what your audience wants and consider productizing it.
  5. Evolve your thought leadership by keeping up with others, collaborating, conversing and continually learning. Mix perspectives for greater depth.
